Hello! Welcome to my Den. Browse around and feel free to contact me with any questions or comments! I'd love to hear from you. If you've read my book, The Devil's Den (which is currently out of publication), or my new paranormal erotic romance, Elfin Blood, I'd love to hear your comments. Give me a review and I'll post it with the rest of the reviews below.
I have one book, WytchBlood, submitted at the moment and the full-manuscript was requested from the publisher. It is a paranormal full-length novel involving witches and vampires, with a new lore on both of them. I hope to be able to bring you news as to its future in the coming months.
Reviews of my newest release, Elfin Blood, by Readers
BY G.R. BRETZ: "I started this book last night, with every intention of reading a few chapters before attending to the many chores on my ‘to do’ list. As if…
I quite literally could not put it down. Stopping in the middle of this story would have been as feasible as stopping in the middle of sex.
Elfin Blood is a rich and resplendent story filled with vampires, elves and magic. The characters are vivid, dynamic and very three-dimensional. It only took a few chapters for me to really care about the characters. I spent the remainder of the story worrying about what would happen to Juliga and Landau.
The POV shifts seamlessly back and forth between the two of them. The reader is left with a wonderful sense of knowing the characters better than they know themselves. I sat back and watched as their disdain for each other, changed to curiosity then swelled to unbridled desire and undying love.
The sexual tension begins very early in the book, and it never lets up. Adding to it is the tension in the story line. Juliga and Landau each have their own agenda, and those agendas seem to be at cross-purposes. Despite their repeated vows of love, I was frightened that either of them might kill the other at any moment.
Elfin Blood is an absolutely incredible story that filled my night and left me breathless. When I go to sleep in a few hours, I hope that I will dream about Juliga and Landau. I won’t be a bit surprised if I do.
My to do list remains to be done and I’ve added one item to it: read everything that Gracen Miller writes."

As mentioned, the publisher for The Devil's Den has gone out of business, so The Devil's Den is no longer available. Below are the reviews I received of The Devil's Den. I am in the process of editing The Devil's Den and I will resumbit it in the near future to a new publishing house.
Reviews of The Devil's Den by Readers
BY GILLIAN: "I finished The Devil's Den in about 2 1/2 days because I couldn't stand to put my lap top down.
Honestly, my first thought about the book was 'YES!' Mostly because I love your work and then because of the warning. Can't help myself, I like the darker side of the paranormal. And I tend to be a vampire sympathizer because I love them so much.
When I read the first chapter, I couldn't help but be a bit weary of Meredith. What I really, really, REALLY liked was how the story became Serena's.
Serena's time in The Devil's Den was interesting and the fact that she wanted so badly to believe she hadn't been there gave the story an interesting twist instead of being the run of the mill "Oh that vampire's got me under his thrall and there's absolutely nothing I can do about it."
I love Six. The fact that you wrote him as a truly nightmarish creature rather than the "Ah, yes, I was turned merely years ago in England, aren't I wonderful? I hate hurting people." character was exciting. When he wars with himself over Serena at the same time she is warring with herself over Six, that's when I knew (hoped) that they were in love and would soon come to realize it and act on it no matter what happened afterwards.
The first time they make love was really beautiful because of all the love and emotion that they have for each other but are nervous to truly admit. When they become actual lovers, and Six just wants to love her until mortal disease takes her from him, is so nice. Because he does still have that bit of humanity in him and it's touching.
Six's past is amazing. The historical and biblical aspect to him and his family makes him all the more interesting. When he travels back in time with Serena...whoa! That was so amazing.
I love the way Six makes Serena choose between immortal life and death. It's sad, then happy and sexy and so wonderfully written.
One of my favorite things is that Six won't apologize for who/what he is. Their love is so wonderful at the end. Nothing matters except their joining and that's really beautiful.
So, if you couldn't tell already, I absolutely loved The Devil's Den! There wasn't one part of it that I didn't enjoy.
Thank you for the opportunity to read this really great work of yours!
Gillian"

BY ALESSANDRA BAKER: “This novel kept me up at night; in a good way! For two nights I forced myself to go to sleep at 2:00 am only because I needed to get up in 3 hours to get ready for work! Thankfully Saturday arrived. After the chores, dinner and quality time with husband were taken care of, I settled in bed and allowed myself to indulge in my favorite pastime - reading. I finished the book at 5:30 this morning and then fell into an extremely blissful sleep. The story of Six and Serena was finished. The conclusion, the only one I would have accepted and I am glad that Gracen did not disappoint.
Oh Boy, did she not disappoint in any aspect of the novel! The plot, dialogue and characters smoothly and effortlessly ebbed and flowed between a myriad of emotions; menace, sassiness, violence, sarcasm, heartache, frustration and last but certainly not least erotic passages which I defy anyone who reads this book to deny it brought them to the edge if not indeed an orgasmic experience!
Gracen’s turn of phrase made the dialogue believable and therefore in turn the characters. Her descriptive passages immediately brought you into the scene and made you either gleefully anticipate or hesitate, momentarily afraid of, what was to come!
I wholeheartedly recommend The Devil's Den and am impatient to read more of Gracen Miller’s books. Please, please, please Gracen never stop writing; the world will be a sadder and emptier place!”

I got 5 out of 5 Whipped Cream & Cherries from Amarantha over at Whipped Cream! WooHoo! Amarantha says: "The Devil’s Den is an excellent read, from beginning to end. Author Gracen Miller has created a great vampire story with a complex plot and unbelievably strong characters. Serena is a strong, beautiful woman. She lives life on her own terms and no one tells her what to do. Six is a very old and powerful vampire, who enjoys his evil ways and does not apologize to anyone or care how anyone else feels. That is until he meets Serena. She is so powerful, in not only her beauty and physical strength, but also her mental strength. Ms. Miller did such a wonderful job of describing the setting, which I felt as though I were watching a movie, rather than reading a book. Her talent with words and descriptions continually impressed me.
The Devil’s Den has a very strong and intriguing story line, but also has a few smaller storylines interwoven into the main plot. When they were introduced, it was a bit confusing and unexpected, but the characters and story were so good, I didn’t give it much of a second thought. That was the only thing that threw me about this book. I truly enjoyed everything about this book and can not give it higher praise.
I highly recommend this book for anyone, especially if you enjoy hot vampire romance! Bravo, Ms. Miller!

I got 5 out of 5 Angels from Ashley over at Fallen Angel Reviews! WooHoo! Ashley says: "The Devil’s Den by Gracen Miller is not a story for the faint of heart. At the start of the story we see Six do some pretty horrible things, and yet you are drawn to him. Six puts all other bad boys to shame. He hurts people, and he likes it, and he won’t feel sorry for it, not even for Serena. Somehow even seeing what we see, Six is a character you want more of. He is definitely evil, but he is also charming and sexy. Serena throws his life out of order, and he wants her more than any other woman he’s met. He doesn’t try to change himself for her, and he won’t stop being who he is, but he with her he cares. Serena is also a great character. She gets scared, excited, and torn over Six. She knows what he is, but she wants him anyway. These are two people who probably should not have ever met, but in their own twisted way, they are perfect for each other. In The Devil’s Den, the bad guys are the ones you are rooting for, even when you don’t want to. This story works, and it is a must read for anyone who loves to see the monsters get their happy ending."
